As awareness around workplace wellbeing continues to grow across Ireland, one Wexford-based company is stepping up to lead with both compassion and compliance.
Moran Safety Services, founded by local entrepreneur Frances Moran, is making a lasting impact by delivering certified training that safeguards not only the body—but also the mind.
A trusted name in safety and compliance throughout the southeast, Moran Safety Services provides a broad range of accredited, practical courses. From fire warden training to first aid, manual handling, HACCP food safety, and the preparation of legally compliant safety statements, the company helps businesses meet their statutory obligations while nurturing a culture of responsibility and care.
But today’s workplace demands more than hard hats and fire drills. The conversation around safety is evolving to include mental and emotional wellbeing—what is now widely known as psychosocial safety.
Recognised under the ISO 45003 international standard, psychosocial safety addresses stress, burnout, unrealistic workloads, poor communication, and the lingering stigma surrounding mental health. Tackling these issues is no longer a “nice to have”—it’s essential for creating resilient and high-performing teams.
That’s where Moran Safety’s MindCare Program comes in.
Launched by Frances Moran, MindCare Ireland is a dedicated initiative designed to build awareness, promote early intervention, and prioritise emotional safety in the workplace. Through interactive and engaging workshops, the programme equips both staff and leaders with the tools to talk openly about stress, recognise signs of burnout, and take collective action to support each other.
“It’s not enough to tick boxes anymore,” Frances explains.
“Psychosocial risks are real, ISO 45003 gives us the framework—and MindCare brings it to life in a way that’s practical, local, and meaningful to Irish businesses.”
Start the conversation. Change the culture. Reduce the stigma.
